At Akamotorsports, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. We offer a 30-day return policy, meaning you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return or refund.
1. Return & Exchange Conditions
To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following criteria:
- It must be in the same condition that you received it (unworn, unused, and undamaged).
- It must have all original tags attached and be in its original packaging.
- You must provide the receipt, order number, or valid proof of purchase.
2. Return Shipping Fees & Restocking Fees
🟢 Shipping Paid by Akamotorsports
We will provide a free return shipping label, refund, or exchange if the return is due to our error:
- The item was damaged during transit.
- We delivered the wrong item or incorrect specifications.
- We shipped the package to the wrong address.
🟡 Shipping Paid by Customer
The customer is responsible for return shipping costs and a 10% Restocking Fee (deducted from the original purchase price) under the following circumstances:
- You purchased the wrong item without verifying product compatibility.
- You changed your mind or did not like the item for personal reasons.
- You provided an incorrect or incomplete shipping address at checkout.
💡 Why do we charge a restocking fee? > Automotive accessories are expensive to ship due to their size and weight. While we make every reasonable attempt to help you exchange items, we cannot cover shipping costs solely for customers to "try out" products risk-free. We do not profit from returns; this fee simply helps offset the substantial logistics costs.
3. How to Process a Return (Step-by-Step)
- Important: Do NOT ship items back to the origin address without contacting us first. Returns without prior approval will not be accepted.
- Step 1: Contact Us Email our customer service team at info@akamotorsports.com with the following details:

- Proof of Purchase
- Photos or videos of the product (required for damaged/defective items)
- Step 2: Package the Item Place your receipt and the items securely back into their original packaging.
- Step 3: Hand Over to Carrier Once our team accepts your return, we will send you a return shipping label and instructions. Turn the package over to the courier and ensure it is sealed securely.
⚠️ CRITICAL NOTE FOR AUTOMOTIVE ACCESSORIES:
Automotive accessories are classified as large and specialized items—especially those with glossy black finishes.
Please pack only ONE product per box. If you are returning multiple items, do not package them together in the same box. Combined shipping causes friction and surface scratches during transit. If our warehouse receives a return package with scratches caused by improper combined packaging, the customer will bear partial or full responsibility for the damage.
4. Order Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change. You may request an order cancellation and a full refund before the product is shipped.
- Cancellation Fee: A 5% cancellation fee will be deducted from your total refund amount to cover non-refundable payment processing charges.
- Post-Shipping: If the product has already been shipped from our fulfillment center, the order cannot be canceled, and our standard 30-day return policy will apply.
5. Exchanges
If you ordered the wrong product, the fastest way to get what you need is to place a new order for the correct item on our website. After doing so, please contact us at info@akamotorsports.com to initiate a return and refund for your original, incorrectly ordered product in its original box.
6. Refund Timeline
- Inspection: Once we receive and inspect your return package, we will notify you via email regarding the approval or rejection of your refund.
- Processing: If approved, your refund will be automatically issued to your original payment method within 3 business days.
- Bank Delay: Please note that banking institutions or credit card companies may take additional time to process and post the transaction to your account.
